Why Whitefish members trust 4 seasons fitness

NSCA-CSCS Coaching, Not A Front-Desk Upsell

Dave Macaluso holds the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential — the same standard used by professional sports organizations and university athletic programs. When you hire a trainer here, you’re working directly with the owner. There’s no handoff to a junior staff member after the sale.

One Coach, One Plan – Built Around You

There are no cookie-cutter programs at 4 Seasons Fitness. Dave views each client as a unique individual with specific physical and emotional needs. Every program starts with a thorough assessment. This isn’t a philosophy — it’s how Dave has worked for 20 years, and it’s why his first personal training client lost over 150 pounds in 10 months.

Education comes Standard

Monthly seminars on nutrition, sleep, hydration, and current fitness research are included with every membership. Most gyms sell you a keycard and leave the education up to you. Understanding why your habits work is what separates short-term results from a permanent lifestyle shift.

Built-In Accountability

The Accountability Package pairs two adults into a shared membership at $80 per person per month — because research shows social accountability is one of the strongest predictors of long-term exercise adherence. Beyond the package, the entire culture at 4 Seasons Fitness is built around the support structure that keeps people going after the first-month motivation fades.

Everything You Need To Train

Whether you’re looking to join a workout on your own, or even workout in your own home, we have options for everyone.

Gym

The owner of this gym holds an NSCA-CSCS certification and trains alongside you on the same floor. That is not how most gyms work.

4 Seasons Fitness is owner-operated by Dave Macaluso, who personally maintains the facility and strives to know every member by name. With over 20 years in the fitness industry, Dave built a facility where the culture is set by someone who is actually present, not by a corporate handbook nobody reads.

Personal Trainer

Your personal trainer holds the same certification required by Division I college athletic programs. That credential is the NSCA-CSCS, and Dave Macaluso earned it alongside a BS in Health and Human Performance, an MBA, and five additional certifications.

Every program starts with a movement assessment, not a sales pitch. Dave builds your plan around how your body actually moves, what your schedule allows, and the specific results you want. No templates. No rotating trainers who forget your name between sessions.

You get one coach who tracks every detail of your progress and adjusts your program before you plateau.
